The following are before and after pictures for an elderly homeowner who was losing strength in her hands and was having a difficult time opening and closing the shower handles. She also had a desire to sit on a bench and use a hand held device.  Opened the wall on the tub side only and replaced the galvanized piping, tub valve and shower valve. Replaced the tub valve with a single handle easy to turn valve. In the shower, installed an easy to turn single handle valve, along with an easy to turn diverter valve. A handheld device with adjustable bracket was installed for her comfort. Lastly, added a matching grab bar in the shower to help her get in and out.  Her shower experience is now exactly what she was hoping for :)
